Photography Changes Tilburg-Noord

This is a photo series about my hometown Tilburg-Noord. Since I was a kid I’ve always found it very special to grow up in this multicultural neighbourhood. However, this place came bad in the news sometimes and people started to have prejudgements about Tilburg-Noord. These don’t fit with how I experienced growing up here. But how do I want to remember this place?

I see the beauty in everyday life, so I wanted to present Tilburg Noord in a dreamy peaceful way. I went places I feel at home at or places I took for granted. With this work I would like my audience to think about their own feelings about the place they grew up.
